ATTORNEY AND NON-ATTORNEY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR REFUGEE/ASYLEE ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS CLINIC IN BALTIMORE, MD
Immigration Legal Services Esperanza Center, a program of Catholic Charities of Baltimore, in partnership with Exelon Corporation and Asylee Women Enterprise, will be hosting a free refugee/asylee adjustment clinic on Tuesday night, March 11 and Saturday morning, March 15.
This clinic will assist individuals who have fled persecution in their home countries apply for green cards, which will get them on paths to US citizenship. More volunteers are needed to match the demand for this particular clinic. Attorney and non-attorney volunteers are needed on each date to help clients assemble documents, check paperwork, review eligibility, fill out immigration forms, and interpret client meetings (Amharic, French, and Kinyarwanda).
